Andrew Collier was born on April 23, 1958 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Ernestine Collier. Andrew was the only child. Andrew had one son, two step-fathers, three aunts, grandparents, one cousin and other relatives who preceded him in death.

Andrew grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri. He received his education in the Saint Louis Public Schools. After graduating from Martin Luther King School, he worked various jobs in Saint Louis. Andrew confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. He grew up playing basketball and baseball.

Andrew married Joyce Taylor. They had three sons. Andrew departed on April 2, 2026 at the Blue Circle Rehab and Nursing Center.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Rodney Collier, Randy Collier and Andrew Collier, Jr.; his mother, Ernestine Pendleton; one aunt, Naome Collier; one uncle, L.C. Murphy; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
