ANDREW FRANKLIN WILLIAMS, the nineth of ten children, was born on June 3, 1951 to the union of Andrew and Maggie Williams, in Wilson Arkansas. Andrew (Frank) accepted JESUS CHRIST at a later age. April 23rd, 2011 Frank was baptized at St. Angela Merci Catholic Church in Florissant, Missouri. Frank attended and graduated from Wilson High School in Wilson, Arkansas. Attended Forest Park Community College, Missouri University and completed ROTC training.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

1969 - 1972 College student worked part time at United States Post Office, 1720 Market St, St. Louis, Missouri.

1974 Juvenile Detention in St. Louis County.

1977-1983 Enlisted in US Army.

1990 Trained to become an over the road truck driver.

2008 Due to health complications, Frank retired.

A memorial for Frank would be incomplete without acknowleding his love and compassion for daily calling his family members and friends. Frank loved watching sports, traveling, friends and family gatherings. He would call and ask family to watch sports on TV with him. During the summer, he would travel to visit friends or his friends would come to visit him.

On the morning of June 1, 2026 at 7:30 A.M. we received a call from his care giver, Josefina Murillo. Josefina stated that at 7:30 A.M. she found him in his favorite recliner. Frank had fallen asleep in his favorite recliner and woke up in the arms of Jesus.

Frank was preceded in death by his father Andrew Williams, his mother, Maggie Williams, three sisters: Agatha Williams Goodlow, Dorothy Williams Christmas, Barbara Williams. Three brothers: Henry Smith, Mathias Williams, and Leonard Williams. Frank never married nor did he fathered any children.

Frank is survived by two sisters: Bertha Williams and Frankie Williams Rutherford. Nieces: Eartha Goodlow, Connie Goodlow Davis, Shonta Hendon Campanella, and India Williams. Nephews: Hubert Campbell, Robert Goodlow, William Goodlow, Quinton Rutherford, Aamaud Rutherford, eight great nephews, five great great nieces, one great great nephew and several special friends.

As we celebrate the homegoing of Frank, my uncle, I am heartbroken. Yet, I can’t help but smile thinking about the legacy of love, laughter, and lighthearted chaos he left behind.

To me, he wasn't just an uncle, I was officially, and exclusively, his "dearest niece” Yet this title came with many responsibilities. It required multiple phone calls and multiple questions (sometimes all in one day). He loved all his nieces and nephews. If you knew him, you knew he had a few absolute favorite things in this world:

The Nodena Days: He loved nothing more than reminiscing about the good old days growing up on Nodena. He made sure none of us ever forgot the roots that shaped all of us.

The Family News Network: He had a passion for "family matters." To be clear, he didn't just want to hear the news—he considered it his civic duty to spread the news. He was our family’s premier, rapidresponse broadcaster. It was always shared with a laugh and a whole lot of love.

His Fierce Loyalty: Above all else, he loved his family. He lived by this motto: "Blood is thicker than water." As time passed, for him, family always came first, no matter what.

He will be deeply missed. His endless questions and phone calls kept us connected. He may be gone, but his life will stay with us forever. My beloved Uncle Frank.

Eartha Goodlow

Jake lost one of his best friends today. He became a good friend of mine also. Frank Williams who lived in California. He loved when we visited him and when Jake played his guitar for him. We took him to Big Bear and Catlina Island and many outings and had a wonderful time with him. . We enjoyed his company and he accepted me as soon as we met. Your friendship meant the world to us. Love u Buddy! RIP
