Annie Pearl Malone

Ms. Annie P. Malone was born in West Point, Mississippi, to Fred Malone and Maria Danils on October 29, 1939. She attended grade school in West Point before moving to Saint Louis, where she attended Soldan High School. She later enrolled in cosmetology school and eventually began working at Barnes Hospital, where she remained until her retirement in 2007.

She married Willie Edward Holmes, and together they had two sons: Lance Lamont Holmes and Dwayne Holmes. From her two sons came three grandchildren: Shrice Holmes, Lance Lamont Holmes Jr., and Jeffery Holmes. DeVance DeWayne Holmes, another grandson, who preceded her in death.

She loved God and attended Friendly Temple Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
