Obituary

Christopher Donell Johnson was born on January 3, 1969, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Walter and Jeannette Johnson. He was known as Chris, and he was the second oldest of four siblings.

Chris was raised in the church, where his faith became an important part of his life. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School, after graduating from elementary he continues his education at McCluer High School, where he graduated.

Chris was employed by Clean Tech Company for over 10 years. He has a passion for renovating houses and loved construction work. He took pride in working with his hands, was dedicated to his craft, and found joy in bringing new life to every project he worked on.

Chris had an outgoing personality and a warm spirit. If you met him and had a conversation with him, he left a lasting impression. His kindness, sense of humor, and genuine heart made him easy to love, and he was loved by many. One of the greatest joys in his life was spending time with his family and his one and only baby sister Colisha. The bond was truly special, and the moments they shared together were among the things he cherished most. Those memories will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him.

Chris was a loving and devoted father who cherished his children above all else. He was a devoted brother to his siblings, always deeply loved and respected his parents.

Chris departed this life on July 18, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memories to his children Devin, Selena, Jadon, Elijah, and Christina; his parents Walter and Jeanette; two brothers Walter, Jr., and Cedric; one sister Colisha; three nephews Tyrone, Tory, and Bryce. He has a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and a special devoted friend Jacqueline Harrison.
