Ward
August 26, 1951 – March 26, 2026
Donald Bernett Ward was born August 26, 1951, to Louis and Bernetta Ward, who preceded his death.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Coleman Temple in Kinloch, Missouri.
Donald, affectionally known as (Don) to family and friends, attended Paul L. Dunbar Elementary from 1st to 8th grade and Kinloch High briefly. He went on to attend Beaumont High until the 12th grade, where he showcased his musical talent playing snare with the drumline in Lancer’s Drum Bugle Core. Don went on to work for BMS Plastic Company and later Chrysler Motor Corporation which eventually allowed him to purchased a new car a 1974 Green Chrysler Dodge Charger
Don was extremely close to his sister Tonye growing up and very close to his nephews, always willing to help whenever needed.
Don departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his four nephews Kelvin (Carla) Ward, Darnell Wells, Corey (Tawny) Wells, Carey (Marneen) Wells; two great nephews Corey Wells Jr. (CJ) and James Wells (preceded him in death); three great nieces Erin Ward, Kelsie Ward and Tamari Wells; one uncle Frank; four aunts Elsie, Constance, Beverly and Laura (Tiny) and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
