Mr. James Calicutt was born in January 10, 1955 to Wilma Calicutt and James Booth in Bayfield, Mississippi.

James attended Columbia Grade School. Graduated from Central High School in 1975.

James gave his life to The Lord at an early age.

James aka “Wine” was a very opinionated and reserved man. He worked all his life until he became disabled and he retired, in which he dedicated his time to his grandchildren and mother.

James was called to be with The Lord on October 25, 2025 at 10:31 p.m at SLU hospital.

He was preceded in death by his mother Wilma Bell, sister Peggy Jean, sister Jerlene Calicutt and nephew Michael Calicutt.

James leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters Shirese Kennedy, Cassie Chenell Calicutt, Devin Bolden and five sons James Jr. Bolden, Shon Hogans, Demond Bolden, Jason Bolden, Jerrick Bolden (Ben) grandchildren Dasha Kennedy of Stockbridge, GA, Danesha Lewis (Otis) of Charlotte, NC, Crystal Shaw (Ryan) of St. Charles, Mo, Jason Kennedy of St. Louis, Mo, Anandi Hogans, Aaliyah Hogans, Daejah Bolden, Jaedah Bolden, Autumn Bolden, Madison Bolden, Oliver James Bolden, Kaiden Stanfield, Arrow Fox Bolden, Zoë Lewis, Marley Lewis, Aubree Lewis, Bryce Lewis, his sister Ethel Calicutt, his aunt Marie Merriweather and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly. And his best friend, and first Love Pamela Bolden.
