Malenda Cole was born on August 6, 1940, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Carolyn and Sterling Davis. From a young age, she displayed strength, grace, and quiet determination—qualities that remained with her throughout her life. She grew into a deeply respected woman whose life reflected compassion, humility, and steady leadership.

Malenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her son, Timmie Weaver; her grandchildren, Trivaris Weaver and Christopher Weaver; and her five great-grandchildren, Lamiiah, Aires, Alisa, Chris Jr., and Jordon.

She also leaves behind her sister, Orzer Anderson, and her niece and devoted caregiver, Christina Davis, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a caring community who will forever cherish her memory.

Malenda dedicated many years of service as a Linen Service Manager at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She performed her duties with integrity, consistency, and quiet excellence. Her strong work ethic and professionalism reflected her dependable nature and lifelong commitment to helping others.

Outside of work, Malenda enjoyed traveling and discovering new places, creating meaningful memories along the way. She embraced life with curiosity and gratitude, finding joy in both simple pleasures and significant experiences.

Above all, she will be remembered for her generous heart. Malenda consistently placed the needs of others before her own, offering love freely and care without condition. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she became a mother figure to many—providing guidance, comfort, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Malenda was a natural leader—confident, independent, and grounded in her values. She led with purpose and conviction, never a follower, always standing firm in who she was. Her charisma and warmth drew people to her, and her presence made others feel seen, valued, and loved.
