Patrick Andrew McLemore was born on June 2, 1949, to the union of James and Helen McLemore. He was the seventh of nine children and was preceded in death by his siblings Charles, Zollie B., Esther, and Darlene.

Patrick professed his love for Christ throughout his life. He was a member of St. Engelbert Parish in St. Louis, Missouri, until he relocated to Kansas City, Missouri, where he lived with his sister Helen.

Patrick leaves to celebrate his home-going, his brother James Edward; his sisters Patricia, Helen (Clifford), and Alarice; his nephews Cleveland (Ashni), James Jr., and DeShawn; his nieces Leishea (Carl), Diane (Charles), Helena (Kenneth), and Stephanie (DeAyres); along with a host of cousins.

Patrick also leaves behind special people who played meaningful roles in his life, including his friends at Eitas and Firefly, and the community at Developing Potential Inc. He loved them deeply and found so much comfort, structure, and joy in their presence.
