A cherished and beloved Mother, Sister and Military wife, transitioned peacefully on August 27, 2026. Ruby was born on December 10, 1936 to the union of the late James Greenwood and the late Lula Aldridge Hillis in Birdeye, Arkansas.

Ruby graduated from Parkin High School in Parkin, Arkansas. Soon after she was married to her sweetheart, Robert Wilform, Sr. for about 10 years before departing in divorce. They were blessed with a son, Robert Wilform, Jr. whom Ruby deeply cherished and most family members called him "Little Bobby."

Ruby was a military housewife and also worked as a CNA-certified nurse assistant.

Also, Ruby-was a devout Christian and servant of God.

She is survived by two sisters and one brother: LaVerne McLeod (husband Ken) of Big Sur, California, Joy Hillis of Las Vegas, Nevada & Harold Hillis (wife Earnestine) of Marked Tree, Arkansas. Also, several nieces and a nephew: Kimberly Ruff, Sharon Ruff, Melva Pete, April Richie-Branch, Debi Pegues, Diane Roberts, Carol Williams, Stephanie Amieva, Helen Sacran and Brian Brown and many cousins.

Proceeding her in death was her son, Robert Wilform, Jr. at age 22 from St. Louis, Missouri and five siblings who proceeded her in death, Leon Greenwood, Mildred Brown, Doris Barksdale, Wanda Williams, Aileen Wynne and Beatrice Richie. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in the nursing profession.
