Terry Lowary, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed December 25, 2025. She was 70 years old.

Terry was born on August 21, 1955 to the late Sarah Dunbar and Henry Lowary. She grew up in Saint Louis, along side her sisters Margaret McDonald, Martha Williams, Rhoda Dunn, and Brenda Watson.

She attended high school in the Saint Louis Public School district before entering the workforce. She would spend the next few decades working hard to care for her children and being an important member of her community. When she wasn’t working, she loved to cook, do puzzles, and explore her city. Her love of learning and curiosity were core to who she was and how she will be remembered.

Terry was also a lover of music and movies. She shared this love with her children and grandchildren, bonding over her favorite artist and actors. Her adventurous spirit and love for her family, created many memories of fun and togetherness for her family to cherish.

Terry is survived by her children: Alfonso Lowary, Jermaine Lowary, Sarah Logan, Jerold Logan, and Lonette Lowary. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many more members of her family who will miss her dearly.
